Job Description:
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Communications Coordinator works closely with all members of Marketing, Communications and Development but primarily assists with development communications.
The successful candidate is responsible for coordinating and managing Doylestown Health Foundation's Website, the Centennial website, all E-Communications, Social Media, print collateral and supports projects related to videography and photography.
In this capacity, s/he will also serve as liaison to Doylestown Health's Marketing department.
The Communications Coordinator will also perform duties related to the support of fundraising, communications and events and will support and help achieve an annual fundraising goal of $8-$10M.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate and manage all responsibilities and aspects of Doylestown Health Foundation's Website, DH100.
org, E-Communications, Social Media and print collateral Serve as project manager and coordinate all development videography and photography Act as a liaison to Marketing to optimize Doylestown Health Foundation presence in marketing materials and in the media Perform duties related to the support of fundraising, communications and events to support the Directors of Marketing, Communications and Development and the members of the Advancement team.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required.
Knowledge of copywriting, web design, social media, journalism, marketing, or development communications is essential.
Direct experience in development communications for non-profit organization in healthcare industry preferred.
Proficiency in Wordpress content management system and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Excellent copywriting skills required.
Experience with digital asset management a plus.
Exceptional project management skills required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong team player and adaptable; ability to work independently; good interpersonal skills; attention to detail is a must.
Excellent time management skills required.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion within aggressive timelines; flexibility and capability of handling urgent matters in an effective manner.
Must have professional demeanor and use excellent judgment in working with executive level faculty/staff/donors/board members/committees/volunteers.
Working knowledge of Blackbaud products, Raiser's Edge and Online Express, preferred.
