65 an hour 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Coordinator for Education Programs and Events The Bucks County Bar Association is seeking to hire a FULL TIME Coordinator for Education Programs and Events.
Position Summary The Coordinator for Education Programs and Events is responsible for fulfilling some of the key elements which enable the success of the mission and goals of the Association.
Key responsibilities include planning and implementation of the various of the Association.
These programs include in-person and virtual live courses.
Additionally, leads for the membership of the Association and for the Bucks County Bar Foundation.
Job Duties include:
Education Program Management o Planning, scheduling, assisting instructors, running, and reporting CLE Courses and Credits (approximately 90 per year) o Managing the reporting and credentialing requirements of the association's CLE program as needed by state standards o Managing the partnerships with third party CLE providers o Managing the association's Defensive Driving program o Assisting member and community attendees with registration Event Planning o Planning, preparing, coordinating, and running special events (approximately 20 per year of varying scope) o Leading the coordination for the annual Bench Bar Conference in September o Working with vendors, communicating event needs, and negotiating contracts o Leading planning meetings related to events o Project management and delegation as related to event execution o Adherence to budget constraints Customer Service and Teamwork mindset o Covering the front desk on an as-needed basis o Assisting with advertising in a minor graphic design capacity o Consistently assisting and collaborating with members and community on a daily basis o Various administrative tasks as required Other duties as required EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, AND TRAINING:
Required:
Experience with continuing education programs, event planning and organization of both in-person and virtual events preferred.
Agile learner.
Ability to clearly communicate in writing and speaking.
WORK HOURS, TRAVEL, WORK LOCATION:
Work hour flexibility required due to occasional early morning or evening events.
Minimal travel required - Occasional local travel during workdays for off-site events and site visits.
One overnight conference per year (one weekend).
This job requires moderate physical effort and lifting when setting up and preparing for events.
Due to the requirement to run events with some attendees in-person, this job requires working at the BCBA building in Doylestown, PA.

Experience with managing a continuing education program Event coordination for groups of 25-250 for virtual and in-person events Experience supporting volunteer-led projects Managing multiple deadline-sensitive projects simultaneously Preferred:
Database experience to work with our membership management system Marketing experience ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Zoom Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Canva and graphic design basics Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, written, and phone) Detail orientation Organization Valid driver's license ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Executive Director SALARY This is a twelve (12) month full-time position with a competitive hourly wage starting at $24.
65 per hour with benefits, PTO and paid holidays.
Negotiable compensation dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience.
