Leads a Community Office team to provide extraordinary service to customers, grow our business through sales of a full range of financial products, maintain operational integrity and a professional office appearance. Fosters a motivational environment and strong sense of service and teamwork. May be licensed to sell alternative investments and insurance (not required). This position is located in Doylestown, PA.
Uses time appropriately in developing business with existing customers/prospects. Obtains new loans/deposits through the development and implementation of an internal/external-calling program.
Requires a desire to learn and understand the business customers' needs.
Accountable for attaining small business loan and deposit goals.
Will build strong partnerships with respective Commercial Lenders, Private banking, Mortgage Officers and all other partners within
Bank to meet/ exceed our customer's expectations.
The Manager will budget their time to ensure they complete their sales activitieseach month.
Ensures that branch operates in accordance with all Bank audit policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance of all federal regulatory guidelines and oversees all branch audit and security policies
Develops, implements and monitors the branch's performance as it relates to all goals.
Will monitor loan goals, deposit goals, balance sheet goals, fee income, fee waivers, and income & expense goals.
Is accountable for meeting these goals and developing ongoing tactics to achieve these results.

The Branch Manager must have strong listening and verbal communication skills for extensive telephone work and person to person interaction. The position requires excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. While performing the essential functions of this position, the Branch Manager is regularly required to drive a motor vehicle to travel to client locations and events. The employee must move and position object/materials to set up branch events etc. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. of materials to be moved to branches and events. The employee needs to communicate and exchange information with all levels of management, clients and outside vendors. The employee must apply and estimate analytical data for trends and reporting purposes. Also must have the ability to function in a financial institution/branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, currency counter, etc.
DECISION MAKING :
Develops, implements and monitors the branch's performance as it relates to all goals.
Will monitor loan goals, deposit goals, balance sheet goals, fee income, fee waivers, and income & expense goals.
Is accountable for meeting these goals and developing ongoing tactics to achieve these results.
Continuously looks for ways to improve the overall team performance.
ACCOUNTABILITY :
Must be the team champion for all sales, service and Firstrust strategic initiatives. Effectively communicates and implements bank's overall mission/vision.
Must drive the consumer loan production through daily calling, daily pipeline management and daily customer profiling.
Will coach branch employees on consultative sales by real time coaching observations.
Provides guidance and direction to all staff members and ensures their development through one-on-ones, coaching, counseling and training. Takes an active role in the development of the personnel and is always striving to improve their performance.
Ensures staff is fully trained on both retail and business product services.
Develops tactics to meet monthly sales/service goals along with profitability targets. Manager will communicate clearly and explicitly the employee's daily, weekly and monthly goals. Will always look to keep everyone on track and in the right direction to meet our objectives.
Branch Manager will always set a positive example in all areas of leading.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be a true leader who can drive a branch team to extraordinary results in sales and service.
Three to five years in sales and service branch experience required.
High School diploma required, 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Must be knowledgeable of Bank policies and procedures.
Advanced application of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point & Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
