We are seeking an individual with a very strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)  along with environmental data management and analysis.  Proficiency of pertinent software identified below is strongly desired.   Job Requirements: o A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Information Technology required; o 7+  yrs. experience in the environmental field with emphasis on GIS and environmental data management; o Experience in implementing change management within an organization on how data is collected, analyzed, managed and reported; o Familiarity with enterprise based systems; o Experience implementing mobile applications for field data collection; o Experience using MS Excel to manipulate and organize data sets for import into a database and for final reporting; o Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment and problem solving capabilities; o High initiative, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; o Ability to work under pressure within tight schedules; o Possess a valid driver's license in good standing with reliable transportation; and, o Availability to occasionally travel to other Langan offices.   Job Responsibilities: o Develop procedures and workflows for streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency through project use cases. o Serve as liaison between environmental professionals and information technology teams to develop enhancements to existing project workflows. o Document data management processes, compose training documents and conduct training sessions. o Develop reporting standards based on end user input.        o Promote and train staff on the use of mobile technology and associated workflows and procedures around this technology. o Provide technical support to field sampling teams and act as a liaison between the project staff, analytical laboratory, data validator and GIS analysts. o Research state and federal regulations necessary to manage action levels or clean-up criteria. o Assist with testing, configuration and implementation of commercial-off-the-shelf data management related software to meet project specifications.   This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of Langan. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
